Who exactly is the yoga teacher training course for?

If you want to learn how to improve your body, deepen your knowledge of yoga, open your energy channels, step into your personal power, take control your life and gain a yoga teacher qualification in the process, then this is the training course for you.

I am a beginner at yoga, can I do the teacher training course?

Yes! Our yoga classes are suitable for all levels. You will practice in a calm, non-judgmental environment. There is no pressure and we will never push you to do anything you don’t want to do. We are delighted to welcome beginners and spread our love of yoga!

I am an advanced student, can I do the teacher training course?

Yes! We teach for all levels and abilities. This course will improve your personal yoga practice, deepen your philisophical understanding and prepare you for a professional yoga career.

Which style of yoga do you teach?

We teach Hatha yoga (the original form of yoga). You will learn different asanas during the yoga asana practice classes where you will gain understanding of other yoga styles such as ashtanga, yin, vinyasa , etc. The teacher training methodology class focuses on the Sivananda yoga sequence that is internationally recognised and taught world-wide.

Do you teach yoga alignment?

Yes! We teach correct yoga alignment whilst encouraging each student to connect deeply with his or her body. True yoga is unity of body, mind and spirit and this is the focus of our teaching.

What is the teaching qualification?

Our school is Yoga Alliance Certified (the biggest and most internationally recognised governing body of yoga, registration number 265124). This means that our teaching standards are high. On completion of the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course you will be qualified to teach as a fully certified Yoga Alliance Teacher.

I don’t want to be a teacher, can I still do the course?

Yes! We teach yoga asana for personal practice and we teach yoga philosophy for general life skills. The course will teach you to connect with your intuition, access/listen to your inner voice, be in the moment, clear karmic blockages, reduce stress, open your heart and engage with your true self.

I am a yoga teacher without a qualification, can I do the course?

Yes! We are fully Yoga Alliance Certified, which is an internationally recognized qualification. Many teachers enjoy furthering their yoga skills and refreshing their knowledge on the course. We teach at many levels and we will be delighted to welcome you.

Do I need a visa to enter India?

Yes, you can apply for a standard tourist visa online. We recommend that you register for the course now in order to secure your place before you buy flight tickets and visa.

Can I speak with you in person before I register?

Yes! We would love to talk to you and answer all of your questions personally. Please feel free to call/message WhatsApp directly on +91 907 209 6550.

What should I bring?

A torch is essential because of the occasional power outages in the Himalayas. We recommend that you bring a back-pack rather than a suitcase because of the uneven roads in Dharamasala and surrounding area. Other items such as notebooks, pens, etc. are available in the village. We will provide you with a Yoga Teacher Training course handbook that covers all the material within the course.
